Intercultural society
The Hellenic Regional Development Centre aims to meet the needs of the newly emerging intercultural society in Europe and at national level. For achieving this goal, the organisation has undertaken initiatives targeting:
- Information and social dialogue.
- Supporting the integration of immigrant population.
- Responding to the needs of the intercultural society.
- Promoting and boosting cultural exchanges.
The organisation provides analyses on the status of immigration in Greece, makes proposals and collaborates on the design and development of programs and tools for intercultural education aimed to meet the needs both of the educational and labour sector.
HRDC participates in projects related to the integration of immigrants in the country, aiming to raise their language competences and to develop knowledge and skills that will contribute to their full participation to the labour market.
