THE PROJECT "SPEAK GREEK - LIVE GREEK"
The diffusion of the Greek language and furthermore of the Greek civilization, in combination to the usage and knowledge of new technologies on an international level, constitute the motive and the basis of this programme.
Within this framework, the Hellenic Regional Development Center (HRDC) and the World Council of Hellenes are cooperating to materialize the program "Speak Greek Live Greek".
This significant program is under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hellenic National Committee of UNESCO, while it has the studious attention (support) of the Public Benefit Foundation Alexander S. Onassis.
Aim of this programme is to teach the Greek language to Greeks all over the world (Diaspora) and foreigners, so as to be able to communicate in a Greek linguistic and cultural environment. The ultimate goal is to receive Language Certificate.
Furthermore, special attention is given to the Greek history and Civilization, music, tourism. Besides learning the Greek language, students will have the opportunity to learn about Greek culture, part of which is the language; it is this language that traveled through centuries and become mean of expression for many remarkable masterpieces.
The programme applies e-learning methods, providing access to all students (no matter where they are). The educational material is being disposed in multimedia form and more precisely it constitutes a combination of texts, images, animation, videos, etc.
