HRDC took place in the Kick off meeting of the PID project (Parents with Intellectual Disabilities – European Family Set ) at 15-17 of November in Graz, Austria. The overall objective of the project is based on the 2006 United Nation Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Article 23 “Respect for home and the family” states to “eliminate discrimination against persons with disabilities in all matters relating to marriage, family, parenthood and relationships, on an equal basis with others.
