The Hellenic Regional Development Centre aims to contribute in the development and expansion of opportunities in the local community. Our vision is the establishment of a dynamic, sustainable economy based on knowledge, advanced technology and the growth of quality of life for all.
Under this framework our fields of activity include all aspects related to environment, including ecological efficiency, sustainable growth and corporate social responsibility targeting:
- The unemployment and the de-industrialization that affect the Greek regions.
- The improvement of the quality of the regional labour force.
- The development and dissemination of innovative vocational training methods.
- The creation of an environmental awareness.
The Hellenic Regional Development Centre contributes to enterprises competitiveness, revitalization of urban and rural areas, promotes sustainability, strengthens the innovation as well as the professional integration of young persons in the job market providing occasions for professional training in the framework of informal and non-formal education.
Moreover, it contributes to the social incorporation of disadvantage social groups through advisory support and provision of information.
