Vocational Εducation and Training
To ensure economic and social growth, it is essential that vocational education and training meet the needs of citizens, labour market and society. The Hellenic Regional Development Centre supports the initiatives for the promotion of Vocational Education and Training (VET) by providing advisory support through its:
- Participation to European Training Networks.
- Participation to European Programmes of Education and Training that target SMEs.
- Participation to Distance Training programmes.
The Hellenic Regional Development Centre is closely linked to the employment services and contributes to the implementation of the European Employment Strategy, via the dialogue with social partners at European level and the participation of the organism in the promotion of European policies and actions for the development of lifelong learning.
One of the main priorities of HRDC is the continuous improvement and adaptation of professional qualifications and skills to any change in the technology.
